Aurora Reservoir - Birding (2ish mi Hike)

THE BASICS

Join us for this birding walk in Aurora, CO. We'll be walking around at the Aurora Reservoir. We won't walk the whole thing, just a small section. Please note, there is a cost of around $10 for a day pass there. It is not a state park. Best to MEET AT: The "Longs peak Shelter" near the upper parking lot. You can google, "Longs peak Shelter aurora reservoir". You can also google these coordinates 39°36'33.2"N 104°40'38.5"W. We will leave at 810am.

As always, bring if you can: binoculars, camera, water, good walking/hiking shoes, sunscreen, a jacket (warm layers), and anything else you might need for a simple birding walk. I have an extra set of binos. We'll set a steady pace and stop often to listen and look!
