The concept
Focus Room Connect is an event where you do quality work and then connect with the people in your session. It brings together the power of connection and the efficiency of a good work session.
For over two hours, you'll work alongside people doing the same, guided by Focus Room, a simple browser-based tool built to help you start, stay with it, and actually finish what you set out to do. Then we close the laptops, celebrate with a drink, and mingle.
It's the best of analogue experience and tech boost, together. The analogue part is a real room, real people, and the quiet energy of working side by side, the kind of presence no video call can replace. The tech part is Focus Room, guiding you step by step so your focus has support, not just good intentions.

Who it's for
Solopreneurs, side hustlers, remote workers, students, creatives, and anyone with a project that matters to them but keeps slipping. The work can be anything: a website, a chapter, your tax return, a business plan, a portfolio, a long-overdue email.

How the afternoon goes
15:00 Arrive, introductions, and settle in
15:10 Focus time with Focus Room (2 hours 20 minutes, with a short built-in break)
17:30 Laptops closed. Drinks, celebrating what got done, and getting to know each other

What to bring
Your laptop or materials, a charger, and the task you've been avoiding. Pick one specific thing, not your whole to-do list. You'll get a link to Focus Room when you arrive. It opens in your browser, so there's nothing to install.

Your host
Focus Room Connect is hosted by Concetta Cucchiarelli, founder of Sustainable Focus and creator of Focus Room. She'll be in the room with you for the whole session, and if you get stuck along the way, she's there to help you get moving again.
