7:00pm Workshop: The History of the Murdered Occult Professor - Continuing our series on Great Teachers, occult author Anna Pymander will be telling the story of the Professor of Religion who wrote three scholarly books on Magic in the 80s, before shockingly, getting shot in the bathroom at University of Chicago (the murder is still unsolved; possibly an execution by Romanian Nazi's as he was an expatriate that criticized Romania in the 1990's as a "Sorcerer State".) "Tree of Gnosis" concerns Gnosticism and Kabbalah. "Out of This World" concerns astral travel, shamanic journeying and Cosmic Ascent. "Eros and Magic in the Renasissance" explores the theory that magic arises from the energy of desire.

Note: LORE meets at 630pm on the first Monday of the month at Dirty Daves Pizza's event room. Dirty Daves also closes now at 9pm. Note that Dirty Daves is closed for remodeling on December 1st and now also closed on December 8th so we will be meeting on the following Monday December 15th. Dirty Dave’s apologized for less than a weeks notice on these changes to their venue.
