Folsom Bike Cycle Club

WHO ARE WE?

The Folsom Bike Cycling Club aims to meet the needs of all riders no matter what level you are and what type of riding you enjoy. We seek to make each ride a positive experience with like-minded people.

Our goal is to connect you with other riders with similar goals and fitness across a wide variety of cycling disciplines. We also provide clinics throughout the year that focus on training, nutrition, riding in groups, bike maintenance, and racing.

HOW DO I JOIN?

• Pay $25 annual club dues (helps cover team insurance and quarterly events)

• Be a good ambassador for the sport of cycling

• Purchase a team kit (see 2018’s designs below)

• 1 Volunteer commitment for trail advocacy

Pedal Club- Fat Tire Mountain Friday! 10:00/10:15 am arrival/roll..soul good!

Granite Bay Distance: 12-15 miles, some hills Level: Intermediate Hills: A few Greetings, Mountain bikers! Welcome to the Folsom Bike Pedal Club Fat Tire Friday! This is a spontaneous ride, deciding what trails to do in the Granite Bay park area as we gather together & see what everyone is up for. We usually go at a decent pace & experience some technical trails, so come prepared to have a good workout! Meet in parking area 15 minutes prior to start & plan to roll out on time! The ride will take approx 2+3 hours, including breaks -Socializing afterwards at Peet's Coffee, 5550 Douglas Blvd Suite D-110, Granite Bay, CA 95746 As always, you must have a helmet and bring lots of water & something to munch during the ride. This ride is for you if: You have a mountain bike in good working condition. You are comfortable shifting and riding continuously with minimal or no stopping.You can ride on hills, technical terrain, (intermediate) and flats for a minimum of 12 miles.You want to have fun & feel like a kid. Foresthill Divide Loop Trail: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/11345511 Distance: 17.5 miles · +2,588 ft / -2,592 ft Level: Intermediate Hills: More than a few Greetings, Mountain bikers! Welcome to the Folsom Bike Pedal Club FDLT ride. This ride features the spectacular trail system of the Auburn SRA. We meet at 100 Lake Clementine Rd. Take the Foresthill Rd exit from I-80, drive 3.3 miles on Foresthill Rd, turn left onto Lake Clementine Rd, then drive 0.6 mi to parking lot on left. Meet in parking area at 9:00 am. Roll at 9:15 am. The ride will take approx 3 hours, including breaks. It's a longer ride than normal. So bring nutrition. There are many regroup points along the way for recovery and photo opps. -Socializing afterwards at: Original Pete's, 13434 Lincoln Way, Auburn, CA 95603 As always, you must have a helmet and bring lots of water & something to munch during the ride. This ride is for you if: You have a mountain bike in good working condition. You are comfortable shifting and riding continuously with little stopping. You can ride on hills, technical terrain, (intermediate) and flats for a minimum of 16 miles. You want to have fun & feel like a kid. RAIN, THREAT OF HEAVY RAIN OR WET ROADS CANCEL THE RIDE.
