Estuary at The Loft

Estuary is a place for people who are seeking wisdom and connection through meaningful conversation. The space is provided by River Rock Church, although Estuary is not associated with any one religious tradition. We usually have 7-12 participants, even when Meetup only shows 2-3 attending.
We start the evening by introducing ourselves, followed by our "Estuary Protocol." During this time, we go around the circle and each person can share what ideas or topics they would like to discuss with the group. There's always the option to pass. After this, we go around the circle again and each person gets to vote for which idea or topic they would like to talk about for the evening.
Once we see what is of general interest to the group, we will begin our main discussion.
The goal is to get at real substance in these conversations. This is a chance to see things from a new perspective and even to have some of our assumptions challenged as we think out loud together. It's all in good faith. Our collective goal is that each of us will leave these conversations with a clearer view of the world than when we came in.
