Irritable, angry, frustrated, annoyed, sad, worried, helpless, overwhelmed, disappointed, anxious, upset, depressed, afraid, disgusted, terrified, grief, aggressive, disapproving... When we feel these emotions, it's clear that we are NOT happy. Often, we try to numb these negative emotions thinking we can become happy, but it doesn't really last. What if we could learn how to TRULY become HAPPIER?

This session will be conducted in Fellowship Hall, which is on the south end of the Church campus, closest to Pasadena Ave. The address is 4694 Pasadena Ave. For the closest parking, it is suggested that you park in the south parking lot which is accessible from Pasadena Ave. Plenty of free parking.
Your speaker, Ruben J Guzman, MPH, LMP is the author of Evolving Health and upcoming How To Fully Live. He is living proof of what it takes to lose weight, eat healthy and stay fit. Ruben possesses over 40 years of experience in the health field: attended 3 years at the UC Davis School of Medicine, holds a Master’s degree in Public Health from UCLA specializing in behavioral sciences/health promotion, and is a Board Certified Lifestyle Medicine Clinician from the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. Having gone through his own health challenge and then losing 50+ pounds in 1995, Coach Ruben provides a living demonstration of what it takes to enjoy a lifestyle filled with energy, vitality, happiness and productivity.
