Transit-friendly walk at New Westminster Quay

This walk is scheduled for Sept 25 (Thursday) but the date is flexible depending on the weather. Obviously this weekday outing is more suitable for older folks who are retired or anyone who has a day off.

9:30 am - we will gather at The World's Tallest Tin Soldier, New Westminster. The walk to Westminster Pier Park and Westminster Quay Boardwalk End is 4km round trip (an hour or so). The river walk is very scenic.

How to get there: You can use the bus or skytrain to get to New Westminster Station which is just a stone's throw from the Tin Soldier meeting place. Restrooms are available at the quay.

Lunch at nearby Big Way Hot Pot for those interested in eating before leaving.

The maximum number of participants is six. If you are on the going list, but change your mind, please update your RSVP so we know the group size.

By RSVP, yes, you agree to the risks in an outside environment. The organizer is not responsible for any injury, illness or any other liabilities you acquired before, during or after the event. We do not tolerate reckless behaviour. We are a group of volunteers and not professional tour guides. As a group of friends and acquaintances, we will look after one another.
