Pacific Spirit Park, Cleveland Trail Entrance 10 km [Easy, 2.5 hours]

The weekend weather has been challenging lately with rain. Let's hope this Saturday weather forecast is dry. If not, then this hike could be cancelled with 48 hours notice.

There is parking across the road or along the curb near the Cleveland Trail entrance of Pacific Spirit Park on West 16th Avenue.

This hike is around 10 km long and might be muddy on some areas. This should be the start of mushroom blooms. We will not be foraging wild mushrooms.

We will pick a place for lunch afterwards depending on group interest.

Bring boots and an umbrella in case of light rain.
You must wear appropriate rain gear (i.e. waterproof clothing) should we encounter rain. All other hiking essentials are recommended, including 2 liters of water, a change of clothing, snacks etc.

This hike will be cancelled if there's moderate or heavy rain.

The pace of this hike will be moderate - I am not a fast hiker and am not in any rush to complete this hike as fast as possible. I expect this hike will take around 3 hours depending on trail and weather conditions. We will stick together as a group as best we possibly can.
