Halloween Bar Crawl 2025!! 👻

This is free bar crawl event for people who want to dress up in fun costumes, mingle, and make their way through downtown.

Your hosts: Cleopatra, Ariel’s much cooler sister, El chavo del ocho (I also had to google that)

Bring: ID, your hydrated self, a responsible plan to get home, a Halloween costume (highly encouraged but not mandatory)

Itinerary:

• We will aim to visit 3 venues. Depending on how busy these venues are and the size of the group, the plan may change.
• Some of these venues are outdoors so layers are advised.
• If you’re planning to order food, please ensure there is ample time for you to order and eat or you’re comfortable catching up to the rest of the group at the next stop.

7-8pm: Fluid state

They mostly specialize in beers, but also have a selection of house made cocktails and a few wines. If you’re hungry, they are known for their sourdough pizza, available by the pie or slice. They have other very random options if you’re not in the mood for pizza. Check out their menu:

8:15 - 9:15pm Bank of Italy Cocktail Trust

This fine establishment is located in the old Bank of Italy building, which has a lot of character.
Expect excellent cocktails! We recommend the black manhattan!

9:30pm: Paddy’s

Full bar and two dance floors. Not into dancing? Don’t worry about it. Maybe that’s a later you problem! Maybe you’re an excellent dancer after a beer and a black manhattan!!! Or maybe you’re more into having deep conversations at the bar while admiring the amazing costumes around you! We need people to fill both of those roles!

Parking and Transportation:

Note: There are full closures of portions of the 101 in Ventura, planned on the night of the event. You may need to take surface streets for a short portion of your drive/ride to or from downtown. Please see full description posted in photos.

Please see the photo section for a general idea of parking lots in the area. The Santa Clara parking structure has free overnight parking at the top level should you decide to use a ride share, get a ride, or walk home instead at the end of the night. We highly encourage the use of a ride share service if you will be drinking.
