Hawkers Market is a monthly recurring underground evening food marketplace in Vancouver.
The next one is this Saturday, July 6th at 7pm until late and we have 10 tickets for free admission to give out!
They support local vibrant food entreprenuers by giving them a place to conduct pop up food stalls (or hawker stands) to sell their food or products. They are chefs, artisans and dreamers and they know their food!
I went to the first one and it was a good time, with some really good food.

Expect a diverse selection of things to eat at the market (you have to buy the food you eat) and take home to try. The market acts as a dining, shopping and social experience.
Along with the food you can expect music from Chapel Sound http://chapelsound.com, lights and mingling with people.
Hawkers Market is located at East Van Studios at 870 East Cordova.
