What we’re about
Every Saturday, 10.00am at the pitches on Newbold Comyn, at the Parkrun finish line. All skill levels, ages and genders welcome. From complete beginners to seasoned pros! We make 2 or 4 teams depending on numbers and play a few games.
Even if you’re not a seasoned player, you’re more than welcome to come along, have fun and meet new people in a friendly, sociable and safe environment. Please bring a positive attitude and avoid hard tackles and arguments. Violence in particular is not tolerated and will result in a ban.

FAQs:
- Do I need to pay anything? No, our few expenses are paid with voluntary rounds of crowdfunding that happen every 6 months. Average donation is £5.
- Do I need football boots? We won't stop you from playing in trainers, but these have shown to be damgerous on grass, so we strongly recommend wearing football boots, or at least astros.
- How do I find you? There's a detail description in every group event, but the best way is to use whatthreewords.n
- What are the rules of the games? We play with gentlemen rules, so offside only when patent and handballs only if very relevant to a goal. Please don't call any of these unless you commited it.
- What do I do if someone is being rude and disrespectful? Always try to be sensible and de-escalate situations, but also let the person in question and/or the organisers know that they're being too intense. 99% of times people don't even realise it and will promptly apologise.
