Old Mill Pond / Gunpowder Creek - Leisure Paddle

Very easy paddle suitable for everyone.

Gunpowder Creek runs into and out of Old Mill Pond. As the name implies, a dam was built in 1916 to power a mill.

We will first paddle up Gunpowder until it becomes too narrow to navigate.

Then we will double back and explore the dam. There's a place we can get out of our boats to walk around the dam. It's not an official take-out, a little sketchy, but working together we'll be fine. And the views are well worth the effort.

If anyone is interested, we can go somewhere to eat afterwards.
