One of the hidden treasures of Hong Kong is the 'Inspiration Lake'. Its spectacular beauty soothes your senses and fills you with bliss and joy. The fresh air, the beautiful landscape and the variety of plants and trees invigorate you. It is an ideal place for meditation. (see the pics below)
The entry to Inspiration Lake is free.
The entire Recreation Centre has a total area of about 30-hectares, and consists of the 12-hectare lake — the largest artificial lake in Hong Kong, a boat centre, arboretum, 1,500 m walking trail with exercise areas . The lake features waterfall cascades and water fountains/jets capable of shooting up to 18 m in height; and decorated with natural and man-made boulders plus some 4,800 trees and 430,000 shrubs. Facilities on site include changing rooms, toilets, seating areas, and a convenience store which also serves as a paddle boat and surrey bike renting center.
Apart from its recreational purpose, the lake water is a source of irrigation for the entire Penny's Bay.

4:30-5:30 - walking meditation
5:30- 6:00 - chit chat about the experience of walking meditation
After that you can continue enjoying the park or leave with those going back. The Park closes at 7:00 pm.
Meeting Point: Hong Kong MTR Station, Exit D (near the Disneyland ticketing counters)
We go to Sunny Bay and walk to the park from there. It is only 1 km away.

Notes:
Please dress in comfortable clothes (track pants) and walking shoes.
There is a little shop there for snacks and drinks.
The activity will be cancelled if there is medium or heavy rain.
