Banned in Class Bookclub

The purpose of the Banned in Class Bookclub is to create a fun, engaging and vibrant community of readers that are primarily interested in increasing their readership of Black literature that has been banned, removed from circulation, or not usually selected.

Who should join?

Readers who are 21+ years old, and value community and transformative conversations about literature. All readers are welcomed, no matter where you are on your reading journey (beginner, expert or enthusiasts).

This monthly book club will meet in various locations such as wine lofts, coffee shops and more to discuss the book and related topics while engaging in community activities and thought provoking discourse.
