Stone Soup Ways in the Digital Age
Details
I have been thinking lately how we need to get together off screens and share how we're going to be resilient in these times.
We can help each other figure out how to be resourcful and make sense of it all, and not feel so anxious or full of rage, and how we can stay grounded and sow seeds of change where possible.
I was thinking we could meet in real life on a semi-regular, build rhizomal networks of like-minded community throughout neighborhoods and across bridges, through perilous times and every season.
I am thinking skill sharing and pot-luck picnics followed by some foraging walks and forest bathing are going to be a wonderful way to brainstorm and build morale. And in inclement weather we can meet indoors or under cover.
There's no cost to attending these.
The first meetup will be this Sunday the 18th at Scouters Mountain Nature Park for a brunch potluck picnic, followed by a hike through the park. 10:30-12:30
Bring something warm to share, or just yourself. Dress accordingly, it is likely to rain.
Send me an note at craftandcauldron at gmail.com if you would like to be in the loop about all future hikes, picnics etc.
Greenest blessings,
Erika
