Paw Paw Fruit Foray | Green Hill Park

It's the start of Paw Paw season!

What to bring:
Appropriate clothing for going in the woods
Some sort of bag or basket for gathering

Optional:
Bug spray
Sun screen

We will mostly be identifying paw paw trees and picking any ripe fruit that we're able to locate. This will allow you to identify the plant while on your own nature hikes through September.

Some of the black walnuts may be ripe as well. I'll cure a few as a test.
