Join us for a relaxed, peer-to-peer gathering where we’ll explore Phoenix Park together, share curiosity about the plants around us, and connect with fellow nature lovers and foraging enthusiasts.

This meet-up is perfect for anyone who:

• Wants to reconnect with nature in a meaningful way
• Is curious about Ireland’s native plants
• Has an interest in foraging for wild herbs, mushrooms, and other edible plants

👣 All experience levels are welcome!
However, please come prepared—do your own research beforehand, and be mindful that others may not be able to identify plants for you.

Your safety and wellbeing are your own responsibility. Never forage or consume anything unless you are absolutely certain of its identification. Any positive identification is solely the responsibility of the individual forager. When in doubt, leave it out.

As this is a park that works to conserve the plants here, we ask that you forage respectfully and courteously, and take no more than you need.

The goal here is to learn and meet new friends, to ensure that plants are not damaged or over-foraged and that the wildlife still have access to their food!
