This group discusses mostly foreign or internationally made films (we might rarely watch an unusual American movie). In our discussions we like to stay focused on the film, its themes, and relevant tangents. The format is to watch the film on your own sometime before the meeting.
So the group will be welcomed back to the places we meet, we kindly ask that all attendees order something to drink or eat. Thanks…

Julie Keeps Quiet is a 2024 Belgian "psychological sports/drama" film, directed by Leonardo Van Dijl, written by Van Dijl and Ruth Becquart. It stars Tessa Van den Broeck (a young tennis player in real-life). The dialogue of the movie is about half & half Dutch/Flemish & French. The film was chosen as the Belgian entry for the Best International Feature Film at the Academy Awards.
“At an elite tennis academy, star player Julie's tennis coach is suddenly suspended following the suicide of one of his female protégées. All the players at the academy are encouraged to speak up about their experiences with him. Julie, however, decides to keep quiet.”
