Learn all types of Bachata, with Australian, Stephen Thomas, and meet other foreigners and locals. We include underarm turns, body Isolations snd rolls, passes and all the popular variations from sensual, moderna and Dominican styles.

We teach all the essential elements and provide all the necessary information and guidance before moving on to new content. We provide personalized service and the highest quality teaching with over 30 years of experience teaching dance. You can find us at Independent Dance, on the 6th floor of Avenida Chapultepec 318, local 602, Roma Norte. The cost is 150 pesos cash. Join us to have fun and learn!

Hi, I'm Stephen, the owner and principal teacher of the studio. I have 35 years of experience in professional dance and teaching in more than 30 styles of partner dance. I am an international Latin champion competitor and have trained in the UK, USA in dance, and specifically in Spain and the Dominican Republic for bachata. Additionally, I have 35 years of experience as an international professional Latin competitor and teacher, now I am a world championship examiner and adjudicator.
