Welcome to Forest Footprints! Our group focuses on connecting with nature through hiking, camping, and other outdoor activities. We also enjoy social networking, brainstorming, bonfires, and talking about different topics.
In order to join our group please complete and submit this waiver form.
Our events are family-friendly and could include activities like hiking, rafting, kayaking, paddle boarding, space clearing as well as music and dancing. Join us for memorable hikes, outside yoga sessions and building sacred spaces in the forest. Let's leave a positive footprint on the world together! We look forward to seeing you at an event soon!

This hike is a mix of a good walk in the forest and Yoga to relax and stretch afterward.
Hike will be around 6 km with an average pace of 4 k/h.
You need hiking shoes, repellent, a water bottle, and a Yoga mat.
After the hike, we’ll grab our mats from the car and do yoga by Lake Wilcox from 7 to 8 pm.
You may choose to do either one, but please let us know if you plan to complete both parts or just one.

Join me for an unforgettable hiking trip to the breathtaking Northern Ontario’s fall landscape at Killarney Provincial Park while you stay at the relaxing Killarney Mountain Lodge.
This is a three- and half-day trip that requires travelling to Killarney provincial park (app. 4 hrs drive from north of GTA) and making your accommodation reservation. Recommended to pair up with other hikers for carpooling to save on gas and to leave less CO2 footprint behind.
We will stay at Killarney Mountain Lodge that offers variety of rooms / prices. Recommended to make your reservations at this location. Once you make your room reservation, send me a message to confirm it and I will move you from the Waiting list to the Going list.
Due to the long traveling distance, recommended to arrive at the Killarney Mountain Lodge a day earlier on Thursday afternoon Sep. 25th, 2025, to ensure everyone is ready and well-rested on the first day of the hike.

Day 2 – Saturday Sep. 27, 2025 (2 or 3 out of 4 trails)
#3 – George Island Trail (7 km) Loop, (conditional to availability of the ferry)
#4 - Granite Ridge Trail (2.7 km) Loop
#5 - Cranberry Bog Trail (3.7 km) Loop
#6 - Acid Lake Trail (10km) out and back

#7 - Killarney East Lighthouse (4.5 km) out and back
#8 - Tar Vat Bay (3.5 km) out and back
* Pace: moderate - app. 4 to 4.5 km/hour
* To use the park’s parking lot, need to obtain the parking permit online or from the park’s office.
* The itinerary may be changed according to weather and other conditions.*** Essentials:
* Bring enough water for your everyday hike, snacks and sandwiches for your lunch as we may not get back to the lodge by noon. Have proper hiking boots and poles, and weather-appropriate clothing.
* Make sure have your room reservation as early as possible before they are sold out. Killarney Mountain Lodge is a favourite place throughout the year and particularly in the Fall. Variety of rooms are still available that suites different budgets.
* Packed lunch for each hiking day can be ordered at the hotel front desk the night before of the hike or you may bring your own lunch.
* Breakfast is served starting at 7 AM everyday. Be prepared to have your breakfast once the restaurant is open to be ready for the hike that starts at 8:30AM everyday.*** Important Reminder:
