Griffith Ravine Loop via Bruce trail
Details
Bundle up and lace those boots—because we’re turning the Griffith Ravine Loop into our own frosty adventure playground! This stretch of the Bruce Trail transforms into a magical snow-dusted escape in winter, and we’re heading straight into the heart of it.
We’ll wander through a forest that looks like it was hand-decorated by winter itself—snow-laden evergreens, crunchy trails, and sparkly frost everywhere you look. As we descend into the iconic Griffith Ravine, the world goes quiet in that special winter way, where sound gets soft and the air feels crisp enough to snap like a carrot.
The ravine’s stone walls and boulders look extra dramatic under a fresh coat of snow, and the frozen streams add a touch of icy sparkle. Expect fun terrain, a few invigorating climbs that will warm you right up, and countless spots where you’ll think, “This belongs on a postcard.”
This hike is around 10k.
