Magnificent Jefferson Forest

Dear Hikers,

We are delighted to announce that our wonderful Mayor, David West, will be joining us for a hike in the magnificent Jefferson Forest.

We will begin the day with our group hike, followed by breakfast at our local favorite, Tehroon 60. Hiking through the forest’s tall trees and winding trails feels like riding on a magic carpet, and sharing this experience with fellow nature lovers makes it even more exciting.

The hike will be approximately 8–9 km and will take about two hours.

Please come prepared:
• Dress in layers suitable for the weather
• Bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated
• Proper hiking shoes are essential, and icers are a must
• Arrive at the trailhead at least 10 minutes before the start time
