The Country Girls discussion

We will discuss The Country Girls by Edna O'Brien on Wed., March 25 at 7 p.m. at a restaurant in or near Forest Hills, close to public transportation. RSVPs will open four weeks prior to the event.

The most widely available edition is The Country Girls: Three Novels and an Epilogue. (We will only discuss the first novel.) There is only one print copy at Queens Library, but 30 copies at NYPL.

Note: the title of Edna O'Brien's autobiography is The Country Girl (singular); make sure you get the novel instead.
