Sept. RSVPs open / Oct. book announced

Hello book group members,

RSVPs are now open for our September sessions on the book When I Was Puerto Rican by Esmeralda Santiago. You may attend either on Sept. 22 (https://www.meetup.com/Forest-Hills-Book-Group/events/233621119/) or Sept. 28 (https://www.meetup.com/Forest-Hills-Book-Group/events/232517110/).

Note that you will need to pay in advance to attend meetings and that this fee is non-refundable. You may pay $1 via PayPal (which does not charge a service fee if you send it as payment to a friend from your PayPal or bank account) at https://www.paypal.me/karenduda or you can pay on the Meetup site, although the charge is $2 that way due to the built-in service charge. If you opt to use PayPal, please let me know the email address used to make your payment so I'll know it's from you, as well as which date you’d like to attend.

Thanks to those who voted in the October book poll. We will discuss The Lady in Gold: The Extraordinary Tale of Gustav Klimt's Masterpiece, Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer by Anne-Marie O’Connor at our October 26 meeting. RSVPs will open at 7 p.m. on October 5 and I will send a notice at that time.
