Nature/Forest Therapy Walk

Details

For folks new to this, nature/forest therapy is a way of being in nature that is slow, relaxed and involves paying attention to our senses. We actually walk less than a mile, but we experience a lot! You'll be guided through it all so you can immerse yourself in the nature around you! We hope that you’ll join us on many walks in the coming year to maximize these (and other) benefits in your life!

On Friday, April 4, 2025 we’ll meet at Bledsoe Creek State Park at 156 Bledsoe Park Rd, Gallatin, TN 37066. I’ll be at the parking lot adjacent to the office/gift shop. If you have any trouble, call me at the number below. This is a three-hour walk and we’ll start right at 3:30pm. Please arrive several minutes early to get settled. If you're more than 10 minutes late, please know that due to the nature of the experience, we can't include you in this walk. You can definitely join us for an upcoming event.

Here’s some information to review before we gather:

  • RSVPs must be returned no later than Wednesday, 4/2/2025. This is required of all walkers.
  • What to bring: This isn't a hike, so there’s no pressure to come prepared with any "gear", but please wear shoes that you feel are right for walking along a dirt trail. You might find yourself kneeling or sitting on the earth, so please wear bottoms that accommodate that. Don't forget to bring some water for yourself.

I’m excited to see you soon and to share in some humaNature Connection! Please feel free to reach out beforehand with any questions/concerns.
