FORGE is a social club for founders and operators actively building real businesses.
We created FORGE because we wanted to meet more ambitious, like-minded people in Melbourne - but didn’t want another networking event in a hotel lobby, awkwardly mingling while someone tries to sell us something.

So we’re doing things differently.

Think walks and coffee, padel, dinners, sport, roundtables and other genuinely enjoyable experiences - all designed to make it easy to meet great people and build real connections.

Our events are built around a few simple principles:

• The right people in the room - founders and operators actively building businesses.

• No awkward networking - we create structure that makes meeting people feel natural.

• Something worth showing up for - good food, sport, useful conversations and experiences we’d genuinely want to attend ourselves.

• Meet more than one person - events are designed to help you connect with multiple people, not get stuck in one conversation all night.

• Connections that continue - the goal isn’t to collect business cards. It’s to meet people you actually want to see again.

FORGE isn’t a pitching forum, careers meetup or lead-generation event. It’s best suited to people who are already actively running and growing a business, rather than those who are simply exploring an idea or looking for general startup inspiration.

Some events will be open to the wider FORGE community. Others, including dinners and roundtables, may be curated by business stage so that founders can spend time with people facing similar challenges.

Whether we’re grabbing coffee after a walk, rotating partners on a padel court or sitting around a table talking honestly about business, the aim is the same:
