Welcome to Forging New Friendships At The Anvil. This group is for anyone who has ever been curious about blacksmithing but didn't know where to start. We focus on the basics of shaping hot metal, teaching fundamental techniques in a relaxed, low-pressure environment where mistakes are just part of the process. You do not need any prior experience or fancy equipment to join us, just a willingness to learn and work with your hands.
Our goal is to build a local community around the forge, prioritizing conversation and shared learning over high-level production. We meet to help one another develop new skills while getting away from our screens for a few hours.
