Is A Course In Miracles (ACIM) a religion? No!
However some of the terms used in this course sound religious such as God, Jesus, Holy Spirit, Ego, Love Heaven, Hell, Forgiveness, etc. Those words are just symbols that tend to trigger Christian evangelicals, and "recovering-religious" folks alike.
A course in Miracles is a non-religious, self-study program to help us achieve inner peace by shifting our erroneous perceptions of the world we see and experience.
The premise of this course is that we are all having a dream, and within that dream our own thoughts create the world (reality) we experience. We choose to experience heaven or hell every second, every minute, everyday.
During class we talk about our own individual interpretations of the pages we read at each class. We encourage our members to read those pages before attending the class so that we all come prepared to share with the rest of the group. According to the ACIM book, all of us are teachers and students. Everyone is encouraged to participate, and share their interpretations of the material we read in class.

We meet on-line for one hour every Wednesday evening at 6:00pm Central time.
Membership is free. However, we remove members who have not attended any meetings over 4 months.
