Chinese Linguistics, History, and Etymology

Are you DEEPLY curious about language and history? Do you look at characters and feel flooded with questions on how they've been used throughout history, how they were constructed, and what the idiosyncrasies of the Chinese language are?

We are too! This weekly event can be thought of as a language learning event, not necessarily only for advanced study, but for deep and curious study. We are not just learning greetings, how to have small talk, business Chinese. We are having deep talk. Curious people of all skill levels are welcome to join, you might also like to have your laptop.

We start kind of early at 6, but it will go for three hours, so feel free to show up an hour or two late, it will still be very fun!
