Sprint race qualifying is back this weekend for two days of hard racing starting Saturday at 7:25a on ESPN2/F1TV and again on Sunday morning at 5:55a on ESPN2/F1TV.

Big driver news announcements this past week as George Russell has been confirmed as Lewis' teammate in 2022 at Mercedes in a multi-year deal with the team. Red Bull Racing driver Alex Albon has been offered a seat to return to F1 after a year's break and will be moving camp to take Russell's seat at the Mercedes-powered Williams team.

The battle between Red Bull and Mercedes this weekend will be in focus, as Mercedes has taken a lead in the constructors' championship and Max Verstappen has a slight edge over Lewis in the drivers' championship: https://www.formula1.com/en/results.html/2021/drivers.html

Since last weekend, Kimi Raikkonen has come down with a case of COVID and will be sitting out this race with teammate Robert Kubica stepping for what we hope will be another tremendous effort from the Polish driver.
