What we're about

Join us to enjoy the 2021 Formula 1 season in New York City with other racing fans!

After another championship season last year, Mercedes yet again looks to repeat in 2021. But will Red Bull challenge and overthrow the reigning champs? Can Ferrari leapfrog both and take the crown? Or will the Mercedes dynasty continue for another year?

As usual our watch party venue will provide us with HD viewing, great food and drinks, and prompt service!

So, why be at home and struggle to stay awake watching the race, when you can come out and cheer for your favorite team and driver with other F1 fans while enjoying some food and drinks?

Come join us this year for another phenomenal Formula 1 season.
See you at the next watch party!

Hello F1 Fans,

Round 11 of the 2021 Formula 1 Championship takes us to Budapest for the Hungarian Grand Prix. The 4.381 km Hungaroring circuit is an uncompromising succession of corners that tests cars and drivers to the limit, and the reliance on slow-corner traction makes it a solid test of a car’s mechanical grip. There are two DRS zones - the start/finish straight and between turns 1 and 2.

Pirelli has elected the C2, C3 and C4 compounds as the white hard, yellow medium and red soft tires.

Max Verstappen leads the driver's championship with 185 points followed by Lewis Hamilton with 177 points and Lando Norris with 113 points. In the constructor standings, Red Bull leads with 289 points followed by Mercedes with 285 points and McLaren with 163 points.

So can Red Bull bounce back with a win? Or will Mercedes make it two wins in a row? Can another team surprise us with their first win of the season?

If you're in the New York City area and looking to watch the race with other F1 fans, be sure to join us for the Hungarian Grand Prix to see who will take the checkered flag.

The race starts at 9:00 AM but will meet at 8:30 AM for the pre-race.

Note: After the Hungarian GP, the F1 meetup group will be migrating to our Facebook group. Therefore, all events going forward will only be posted via https://www.facebook.com/groups/formula1nyc.
So, if you have not joined our Facebook group yet, please do so.
We'd like to thank you for supporting the group over the years, and we look forward to growing even more with Facebook.
