Details

Hello F1 Fans,

After a four week summer break, the teams (and fans) are ready to resume the Formula 1 season! Round twelve takes us to the legendary Spa-Francorchamps circuit. At 7.004 km in length, it is the longest on the F1 calendar with iconic corners such as Eau Rouge that tests cars and drivers to the limit. The variable weather will likely be a factor as last year we saw Lewis Hamilton grab pole position in the wet but Sebastian Vettel win the race in dry conditions.

STANDINGS - Nico Rosberg still leads the Driver's Championship with 202 points followed by his teammate Lewis Hamilton with 191 points. Daniel Ricciardo sits in third with 131 points. In the Constructor's Championship, Mercedes still holds a commanding lead of 393 points with Red Bull in 2nd with 219 points and Ferrari in 3rd with 142 points.

TYRE ALLOCATION - As in Hungary, Pirelli will be bringing the P Zero White medium and Yellow soft tyres (unlike last year which had medium and hard compounds). The winning strategy in 2013 was two stops, as Vettel and Red Bull took the win. However, with the absence of the hard compound, three stops will be likely this year.

DRS ZONES - There are two DRS zones, pit straight and Kemmel straight.

According to Sky Bet, Lewis Hamilton is the odds-on favorite to win the Belgian Grand Prix after his charge from the pit lane to the podium in Hungary. So the question is, can Daniel Ricciardo win again or will Nico Rosberg bounce back with a victory? Or will Ferrari or Williams see their first win of the season? If you're in the New York City area and looking for some great racing action with other F1 fans, be sure to join us for the Belgian Grand Prix to see who will take the checkered flag. Race will start at 08:00AM EDT with the pre-race starting at 07:30AM EDT. It's going to be another fantastic race.

We hope to see you all!
