Watch the Spanish Formula 1 Grand Prix together

Come and watch the Spanish Grand Prix in the company of fellow Formula 1 enthusiasts. It doesn't matter if you are a long time fan or new to the sport, come and meet new people and enjoy the thrills and spills of the next race on the Formula 1 calendar.

Well the 2 stop strategy that the FIA brought in to make the Monaco GP more exciting didn't really pay off. It was more frustrating than anything else. All that hype and it really didn't change how the race played out. But that was good for Lando Norris who, after a glorious qualifying lap where he broke the lap record, started and finished the race at the front. There were a few moments of jeopardy as Leclerc got closer and closer thanks to Verstappen backing up the pack at the front, but as our lovely co-organiser Oskar said, even I could defend against Leclerc in Monaco when there is no real chance of passing.

Behind, thanks to some slightly less sportsmanly strategies, we got some drama as Russell cut the chicane to get away from Albon that was backing him up massively to allow his team mate a free pit stop. An angry Russell refused to give the place back and said he would rather take the 5 second penalty. Well he got his wish and more as the stewards gave him a drive through penalty instead, completely ruining his race.

Next up - the Spanish GP - and we are hopeful for a more eventful race this time. This may be the last time we race at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, at least for the near future as next year we will get a Madrid race, so lets enjoy the excitement together.
