Forró on Thursdays with Jan & Julia
It’s Thursday night in Stuttgart and you feel like doing something and move your body? Then come dance Forró with us at Forró Haus. Forró is a partner dance from the northeast of Brazil, and it’s all about common connection, the music and a really simple basic step.
You don’t need any experience and you don’t need to bring a partner either. We switch partners during the class, so you’ll pretty much automatically get chatting with people while you dance. Some come to get better, others just want to try something new and spend the evening with nice people.

18:30 Beginner class
Jan & Julia start with the basics: the basic step, how to connect with your partner and how to get a feel for the music. It’s for complete beginners and anyone who wants to brush up on the fundamentals.

19:30 Advanced class
For everyone who’s already comfortable with the basic step and wants to learn new figures, combinations and ideas for moving.

From 20:30 Free dancing
After the classes most people just stay, dance, chat and let the evening wind down, usually until around 23:00.
