Fort Collins Grateful Dead/JGB Musicians Open Jam

Fort Collins Musicians Open Jam is a friendly, low‑pressure space for people who want to play Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia Band music together and meet other local players, hosted in my small, cozy home‑studio basement.

All instruments, styles, and experience levels are welcome. Keys, bass, percussion, vocals—all welcome. If you know (or want to learn) Dead/JGB tunes, can follow basic chords or grooves, and are willing to listen, collaborate, and be respectful, you belong here.

We’ll focus on Dead and JGB songs with lots of room to improvise in an intimate, basement‑room‑style studio setting. Guitars can be provided if you don’t have one. Bring your instrument if you have one, a positive attitude, and be ready to make music with new friends or just hang out and listen.

Hosted by a longtime Dead/JGB guitarist who, back in the day, played with members of Shakedown Street and had a memorable night gigging with Melvin Seals from JGB. Seasoned and a little rusty, but getting back into the music now. Looking forward to meeting up with other Deadhead musicians in Fort Collins
