What we’re about
If you like talking about philosophy while drinking this is the club to be in. Open to all: young and old. No background in philosophy required. Just come with an open mind. There will be a suggested philosophical topic each week and about 10 questions to ponder. But there is no real need to stick to the rubric if the discussion wanders in a more interesting or weird direction. Your lowly organizer is a philosophy professor so I can’t resist adding a type of syllabus, updated each week. I’ll do all the grunt work, so also take it as a sort of free philosophy class if you don’t want to cough up the money or sit in a classroom.
