Fringe Fort Myers 2025 kicks off Thursday, May 29 at 5:00 p.m. with a “Flamingle with the Artists'' Reception in the Alliance Gallery, giving patrons a chance to meet the artists, followed by the Preview show at 6:30 p.m. At the preview, each performer will have three minutes to sell the audience on why they should see their show. How they do that is up to them! Tickets for the Flamingle are just $5 and limited availability.
This event is open to the public, and more information is available at artinlee.org/fringe. Following the Preview Show there will be one performance in both venues. Shows average between 45-60 minutes.
Nine acts have been selected for Fringe Fort Myers 2025 via lottery. Please note that due to adult language, content and themes, some of the performances are not suitable for those under the age of 18.
In the Foulds Theatre at the Alliance:
GENIUS, MADNESS AND MURDER: TALES OF THE SCANDALOUS FAMILY OF JOHN WILKES BOOTH – from Lutz, FL
She had a front row seat to history. Asia Booth Clark, the sister of Lincoln’s assassin and the scion of one of America’s most colorful, scandal-prone theatrical dynasties, shares an evening of stories of the many triumphs, scandals and tragedies of the Booths as well as some little-known facts about that national tragedy.
This show is suitable for those ages 8+.
Showtimes: Friday, May 30 at 8:00 p.m., Saturday, May 31 at 8:30 p.m. and Sunday, June 1 at 12:00 p.m.
Stage 2 Improv – from Naples, FL
This show is Audience driven and features games, skits, and music. Every show is completely different from the next!
This show is suitable for those ages 8+.

Adventures in Baby-hitting- from Boynton Beach, FL
Award-winning writer and professional actor Joshua Ritter performs a solo show detailing his hilarious and heartbreaking experiences as primary caregiver for his special needs twins.
This show is suitable for those ages 18+.

The Other Side – from Belle Isle, FL
The Other Side is a story of survival, an experience of magic, and a message of hope. Magician Sebastian Gerhardt was 22 years old when he was diagnosed with an inoperable, malignant brain tumor and told he had six months to live. It was time to say goodbye to his family, friends, and loved ones. This show is his story; combining magic and storytelling to express his newfound appreciation for life and inspire others to do the same.
This show is suitable for those 12+.

Off Broadway Palm at Broadway Palm:
5 X 10 Funny: Power Plays- from Naples, FL
Five funny 10-minute power plays from winners of the Stage It! 10-Minute Play Festival. Fantasy, mimes, clowns, racists and GILFs (o my!) from five American playwrights, performed by two salty nuts.
This show is suitable for all ages.

Born Greg – from Astoria, NY
Standup-comedian Max Kaczor’s legal name was, for a mere 24 hours, “Greg.” Max takes a look at what his life has become, and imagines what it could’ve been if he were Greg instead.
This show is suitable for those ages 13+.

Ivories Guy – from Naples, FL
Ralph Krumins as Ivories Guy delivers an emotionally charged, one-of-a-kind solo performance that leaves audiences spellbound. Through intimate, spontaneous conversations with the crowd, Ralph masterfully channels each character’s dreams, joys, and fears into heartfelt, original songs created spontaneously.
This show is suitable for those ages 13+.

Mind Reader – from Medina, OH
As the show name would suggest, Steven Nicholas will read the minds of many audience members in unexpected and surprising ways.
This show is suitable for those ages 13+.

Plant: The Musical – from Bellingham, WA
One piano, two actors, six characters and a ukulele. An absurdist musical about a kid trying to solve every single problem in the world. The solution? Chloroplast! The hilarious, heartwarming and frankly bizarre hit new musical.
This show is suitable for those ages 13+.

The closing ceremonies will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 1, in the Foulds Theatre. Open to the public and free to attend, the event will celebrate the festival’s standout performances with the presentation of the coveted Best of Venue and Best of Fest awards.
