NKT DAY Community Event Everybody Welcome!

The first Saturday in April is set aside to commemorate the founding of the NKT-IKBU (New Kadampa Tradition – International Kadampa Buddhist Union) by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche in 1991.

Samudrabadra Kadampa Buddhist Center is a part of the NKT. It opened its doors to the public in 2009 offering Modern Buddhism to the people of SW Florida. We are very fortunate to have this beautiful Center in Fort Myers. Through the timeless teachings of Buddha, people are able to find inner peace, real happiness, and a meaningful life.

Please join us on Saturday, April 4th, 11:30 am – 1:30 pm. Gen Namdrol will give a short talk about the NKT and the extraordinary kindness of its founder Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. There will be time for questions and answers.
Following the talk, we will enjoy an inspiring video about the NKT and then gather together in our comfortable community room for a delicious potluck lunch.

Everybody is welcome to attend this FREE event. Please bring your favorite vegetarian or vegan dish to share.
