We will meet virtually every Saturday morning to write together and get ideas from each other if needed. This event includes writing bursts of about 30 minutes with ten minute breaks built in for anyone who wants to seek advice or just let their brain recharge. The best part is, you don't have to take the break if you don't want! Just mute your computer and write on through.

The "schedule" for Weekend Writers is as follows:

9:00 a.m. - 9:10 a.m. Talk/prep
9:10 a.m. - 9:40 a.m. Writing session 1
9:40 a.m. - 9:50 a.m. Talk break, Q&A, advice, etc.
9:50 a.m. - 10:20 a.m. Writing session 2
10:20 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Talk, Q&A, etc.
10:30 a.m. - More writing if desired

Even though the schedule lasts only an hour and a half, we may continue on for longer if desired. We look forward to seeing you all there. Happy writing!

We will NOT be meeting this week due to the holiday. The next round robin will be on January 14.

Bring your writing to the next level in a supportive, constructive environment. We take turns reading our “Works In Progress” to one another, while giving thoughtful feedback and advice on how it can evolve into a better expression of your art.

We listen to two readings per evening; each writer gets forty-five minutes of time to split between reading and feedback from the group. We open with a discussion topic about writing, followed by news of the Guild and the thriving Fort Wayne writing community. Written copies are encouraged.

We gather every other Wednesday from 7 to 9 PM at the Allen County Public Library's Main branch, located at 900 Library Plaza, between W. Wayne Street and W. Washington Street downtown. The library has an ample, free parking lot under in the building. We will be meeting in the Globe Room.

Mind your own business...unless you're a writer. Poetry, prose, and even hybrids - all deal with other people's business*.

For those who seek a mid-day adventure with words, be that reading, discussing, critiquing, composing, or simply listening (Is listening ever simple?), Other Peoples' Business is The Thing. And there's food and drink, as well.

* Memoir/autobiography, too, supposes the reader will be attracted to other people's (the writer's in this case) business.
