Welcome to the Fort Worth Ebony Experience meetup group! This group is dedicated to celebrating Black expressions, African American culture, and fostering connections within the Black community in Fort Worth. Whether you're interested in African American literature, arts and culture, or simply looking to meet like-minded individuals, this group is open to all who identify as Black or have an interest in African American, African and Caribbean heritage. Join us for social events, discussions, and networking opportunities that highlight the diverse experiences and perspectives of Africans and African Americans coming together as one community. Let's celebrate our Blackness and build meaningful connections together!
All are free to join but the expected target demographic for this group is mid 30s to mid 50s, Black singles who want to hang out in the company of other positive Black members of the Fort Worth community. Meetups will focus on movies, dinners, coffee chats/conversations, events, concerts, comedy shows and fellowship in a supportive environment amongst other members of the Black community in Fort Worth.
Note: Unfortunately, in the past I have had disruptive or negative people try to join a similar group and those people happen to not be Black yet seemed to have an issue with Black people getting together. I am open minded and accept person but negativity in this group will not be tolerated. ANy individuals bringing in negativity over race or politics or other "hot topic" social issues only to cause conflict and be disruptive will promptly be removed or not allowed to join.
