Hangman's House of Horrors
Details
Ready for another haunted house? This one is Hangman's House of Horrors. I’ve gone to this one before and it is my favorite one in Texas so far.
The location is a 100+ year old military base that was built as a helium production plant in the early 1910's. Many believe this was only a guise and in actuality the site was used as grounds for other top secret purposes. Much of the information about "Helium Production Plant No. 1" is classified, so it all remains a mystery.
Please note:
- The group will meet at 8:15 pm so we can enter right at 8:30 PM
- Parking is $10 (credit and debit accepted)
- I strongly suggest you purchase your tickets online ahead of time. Their tickets typically sell out fast
- They are open rain or shine. If it rains, their parking lot gets muddy so be prepared
- There are three options for tickets - General Admission, Fast Pass and Timed Entry. I got the timed entry ticket so if you want to go through with the group, you will have to purchase that ticket. The price is $73.03 after taxes and fees
- Trust me, you don't want to wait in the line to get in - it's always super long. Some people said they waited 3+ hours during Halloween
- Tickets can be purchased here:
Hope to see everyone there!
