Cozy Coloring & Craft Picnic

Come slow down with us for an easy afternoon by the Trinity River!

Bring whatever creative project you’ve been meaning to work on—coloring books, markers, crochet, knitting, embroidery, sketchbooks, journaling, cross-stitch, or any portable craft. If your hobby fits on a picnic table, bring it!

We’ll meet under the covered picnic area near the river, put on some music, chat, snack, laugh, and enjoy each other’s company. There’s no pressure to be outgoing or constantly talking. Sometimes the best conversations happen while our hands are busy.

Kids are welcome! The playground, trails, and river are nearby, so if little ones need a break, we can easily stretch our legs or let them play before settling back in.

Feel free to bring:

• Your own craft or coloring supplies
• A lawn chair or picnic blanket if you’d like
• Snacks or drinks for yourself (or to share if you’re feeling generous)
• Sunscreen and water
