Come and join us for ultimate (frisbee) - Sundays and Tuesday's from 6:00p to 9:00p (game starts promptly at 6:10p, come at 6:00p to warm-up) at the Outdoor Center Greens located just south of the Catawba bridge (first left after main entrance to River Walk - see map at bottom). http://www.cityofrockhill.com/index.aspx?page=983
RSVP if you plan to attend (include any unregistered guests you're bringing / coming with in count), bring a disc (if you have one), water, and both light and dark shirt to identify teams.
Fort Mill Ultimate operates within the Charlotte Area Ultimate network of pick-up games ( http://www.charlotteultimate.com/play/pickup ) where our top priority is to provide an environment for organized yet laid back pick-up as well as field teams and players for tournaments and leagues operating within the Charlotte Area Ultimate network.
GAME PLAY POLICY:
If we have / expect more than 20 players, we'll split into 2 fields to minimize subs as most of us come to play, not watch.
Games are canceled based on the followed criteria (either condition), but assume the games ON unless either criteria below clearly met and / or comment is sent to the message board canceling the game:
- Lack of a quorum: we need to have at least 6 players RSVP'ed within 1hr of game start time.
- Weather cooperation: we need to have a reasonable chance the weather during the game will not be miserable by no later than 30min prior to start time.
We welcome players of all levels, but if you're a new player, make sure you know the basics (rules, throwing, catching, guarding) before you come out to ensure you'll have fun.
