Monthly Tarot Practice Group: Check in With Your Deck

This relaxed and informative (and FREE!) session will give you the chance to check in on your tarot journey as well as pick up a few new strategies and techniques to incorporate into your practice. Every month we will be working from a different topic, idea, question, spread, etc. Feel free to join every month, or pop in as you wish.

A few things to know:

This session is open to all levels of experience, but complete beginners should know that this session is hands-on and we will not be teaching you how to read tarot. However, you are more than welcome to attend, and we will explain how to engage with your cards on an intuitive level even if you've never studied tarot before. (If you are looking for a class, though, get in touch! I do offer a beginner's course, which runs at various points during the year)

Most of us (myself included) tend to work from the Rider-Waite-Smith tarot and decks that are RWS-inspired. You are encouraged to bring any deck you feel drawn to, but (especially if you're a beginner) it's usually better to have a deck with unique images on each card. For that reason, I would suggest using Marseille & Thoth-based tarot decks only if you are already confident in that system.

This is not a class about the history of the tarot or its traditions and symbolism. What you can expect here is a guided experience, not just tarot spreads but also creative journaling and therapeutic reflection. You will get a chance to flex your intuitive muscles and also meet some like-minded seekers and thinkers. After this session, you will understand how tarot can be used to forge a deeper connection with yourself and to access the knowledge you already contain within you.

Tarot is a visual language and, as such, it is the perfect method for communicating with our unconscious. If you want to get to know yourself better and strengthen access to your inner wisdom and creativity, then this session is for you.
