Michele and Robert invite you to La Gran Plaza De Fort Worth for a casual Thursday evening walk with optional dinner after.
LA GRAN PLAZA DE FORT WORTH® is a one-of-a-kind super regional shopping mall with over 175 stores to suit your every shopping need, national and local clothing, shoes, and food like IHOP, Burlington, Children’s Place, ROSS, Skechers, T-Mobile, Chase Bank, Chuck E. Cheese, Conn’s, Auntie Anne’s, WSS (warehouse shoe sale) Spectrum / Charter and more. In the food court you will find an array of dining options including regional Mexican food, seafood, Asian cuisine, Pizza, Pupusas and snack shops that offer frozen yogurt and Mexican treats. La Gran Plaza is home to Fiesta Mart, a supermarket renowned for its vast produce selection, fresh meats and dairy, world class bakery and more. Enjoy a bicultural movie experience at TX America Cinemas where you can watch new movie releases dubbed or subtitled in Spanish as well as exclusive showings for Mexican Cinema movies. Event Details ...
Cost: FREE for the walking tour, optional dinner afterward at your own expense.
Weather: Our walk is indoors and will thus take place rain or shine; if it’s on our calendar then we’re proceeding as planned.
Parking: A variety of options outside La Gran Plaza. Please arrive on site early so that you have plenty of time to find parking and walk to our meeting point.
Before the Event: Socializing at La Gran Plaza from 5:45 to 6:00 pm.
Meeting Point: 5:45 pm at the “Dino (Dinosaur) Plaza” of La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth: 4200 South Freeway - Fort Worth. Look for your hosts Robert (wearing a fedora-style hat) and Michele along with a group of friendly people. We’ll depart for our walk at 6:00 pm.
Icebreaker Introductions: We should have a good-sized group and so instead of everyone introducing themselves to the group we will get to know each other by distributing blank stickers and colored markers and we’ll ask everyone to write down on their sticker: 1). first name. 2). favorite food. 3). dream vacation. Example: “Michele - Strawberries - Kenya” or “Robert - Chocolate - Tokyo”.
Walking Distance: approximately 1 mile over approximately 60 minutes.
After the Walk: Optional dinner and socializing. Michele is a gluten-free vegetarian.
