# AI Forum London : A Manifesto for Individual Empowerment, Agency, and Human Augmentation

We are at an inflection point. Artificial intelligence is reshaping work, organizations, and society faster than most people can comprehend. The mainstream narrative is binary: AI will either replace you or save you.
Both are wrong.
The real question isn't whether AI will change everything. It's whether you'll shape that change, or be shaped by it.
This is the AI Forum. And we're building something different.

### PILLAR 1: The GenAI Revolution — Individual Empowerment & Agency

The shift happening now: For the first time in history, individuals have access to intelligence at the scale of large organizations. You don't need a lab, a team, or institutional permission to build something powerful.
What this means:

• You can write better, think deeper, prototype faster than ever before
• You can challenge institutions, create alternatives, and build businesses alone
• You can amplify your ideas, your work, your impact

The philosophical question we explore: If AI gives individuals institutional-scale capability, what does that mean for power? For organizations? For you?
We'll examine:

• How power structures are shifting from institutions to individuals
• The evidence of individual agency in the AI era (case studies from founders, creators, builders)
• The philosophical implications of democratized intelligence
• How to position yourself to capture this moment

The reality: The primary skill gap in 2025 isn't "knowing about AI." It's using AI to build.
People talk about AI. But they don't ship. They don't experiment. They don't get their hands dirty.
What we do: We run events where you actually build something. Use AI to:

• Write code, design systems, create content
• Ship a prototype in an evening
• See what's possible (not theoretically, but practically)

The principle: You don't understand AI by reading articles. You understand it by using it. By breaking it. By discovering what it can and can't do in your context.

But here's what we're searching for:
As technology replaces, augments, and overwhelms—what makes us human? What's the collaboration angle? What's the community element that matters?
This is the deepest pillar. Because individual empowerment without community is fragile. Everyone building alone is chaos.
We're looking for:

• How technology should augment, not replace
• Where humans are irreplaceable (judgment, creativity, wisdom, connection)
• How communities form around shared capability, not shared fear
• What partnerships look like in the AI era
• How we build together instead of competing

What we create here:

• Partnerships: This is where collaborations start
• Mentorship networks: People who've gone through the transition helping those beginning it
• Accountability: You're not building alone; you're building with us

2. Contribute. Your perspective matters. Your questions drive the agenda. Your experience teaches others.
3. Build. In a build session, you build. In a discussion session, you come with ideas and frameworks worth discussing.
4. Connect others. You find someone doing something interesting? You introduce them to someone else who needs it. That's how communities work.

When: Typically first Tuesday of the month (8-9pm) Format: Panel + discussion + Q&A Who: People who want to think deeply, challenge assumptions, learn from others' perspectives

Attend workshop sessions where you actually use AI tools to ship something in 2-3 hours.
When: Typically second Thursday of the month (6-8pm) Format: Intro + hands-on build + show & tell Who: Anyone willing to get their hands dirty and try something new

Attend collaboration sessions, partner roundtables, and networking events where real partnerships form.
When: Typically third Wednesday (for members) + ad hoc partner events Format: Curated connections + structured introductions + opportunities Who: People looking for collaborators, mentors, or community
