FORVM Photo Walk #1: Alfama

Details
### Sunday, June 22 | 16:00 | Largo do Chafariz de Dentro
We’re not here to teach you photography.
We’re here to look, to feel, and to tell stories—with whatever camera you have.
Each photowalk is a micro-expedition. This one? A calm drift through post-festival Alfama, when the sardines have vanished and the chaos has turned into stillness.
We’ll choose just a couple of streets. I’ll bring some old photos of what they used to look like. I’ll share a few city legends—real or almost real.
And you’ll get a creative prompt to guide your shots.
Not just “capture the vibe.”
But: “What if you could photograph a memory that was never yours?”
This is for people who want more than just walking and pointing their camera at azulejos.
Let’s try to create images with soul, even if we’re not professionals (especially because we’re not).
🟡 The walk lasts around 1.5–2 hours, and ends with a drink nearby.
🟡 All cameras welcome: phone, film, digital, whatever.
🟡 This is not a photoshoot or influencer thing. No ring lights, please.
⚠️ RSVPs:
This event is free.
We’re using the free Meetup version (blame capitalism), so the slots here are limited.
But the walk isn’t.

👉 Send us a message there to RSVP properly.
Let’s meet in the streets, and try telling stories through silence.
