Welcome to the Forward Party Monthly Potluck Community.
The Copper State has always been home to people who like to think for themselves and make their own way. That's why most Arizonans identify as "moderate" and nearly 1.4 million unaffiliated voters in the state reject the two party system altogether. The Forward Party believes that it's time to put a stop to the divisiveness and rekindle the power of unbridled democracy. Come be a part of the movement.
This Meetup Group holds monthly potlucks on the Second Saturday at various homes around Tucson with the intention of discussing ways of empowering independent voters, as well as concerned party members of all parties. Are main agenda is to enjoy each others company in a civil and open minded way to bring about true majority rule in Arizona. Two proposals on the table now include truly open primaries (not just for independents but for all five parties currently recognized in Arizona) and Ranked Choice Voting (a means of assuring majority support for all winners).
