8th South Beach Photomarathon

On Sunday, March 25, 2012 Fotomission and Tropicolor will host at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden the 8th South Beach Photomarathon, an exciting event that is open to all those who enjoy photography.

Participants will be assigned six topics to photograph on South Beach over a period of five hours. The topics will be kept secret until the event day and are purposefully vague to give the contestants plenty of room for self expression.

The best photos from each topic will be selected, and from those the first, second and third place winners will be awarded cash prizes as well as plexi mounted prints of their images. The winners will be exhibited at Tropicolor's gallery during the month of May and permanently on this site along with all the contestants' images.

This year our panel of judges will select the finalists, and the participants, along with the general public, will vote for the winners.
