Yigebe Ethiopian Coffee is committed to providing genuine, ethically sourced Ethiopian coffee. We roast in-house and serve every cup fresh, offering Portland a true taste of Ethiopian coffee tradition. We choose the best beans and offer exceptional service that would please Grandma Yigebe.

Grandma Yigebashal Mulat, affectionately known as Grandma Yibege, was a beloved figure who fostered community through coffee. In her kitchen in Ethiopia, she greeted each day with laughter and shared stories over freshly roasted, ground, and brewed coffee. Grandma Yibege cherished this ritual, gathering friends and neighbors three times daily: morning, midday, and evening. Her coffee sessions weren’t just about refreshment; they were moments of connection and conversation, embodying Ethiopian culture’s social spirit. Yigebe Ethiopian Coffee honors her legacy, sharing her passion for community since our establishment in 2023.

We can't wait to learn more about what you are working on and how we can be helpful.

As always, be there thinking about ways you can help your fellow founders. No selling, no solicitations, just good conversations!

BTW, this is a Startups & Peanut Butter event. Peanut butter is a popular item to donate to food pantries because it's high in protein, shelf-stable, and liked by both children and adults. You can help food pantries by donating peanut butter or hosting a peanut butter drive in your community.

Please bring one or more jars of peanut butter w/ you to this event and we'll deliver them to Oregon Food Bank for the season.

See you there stuffers of stockings
